New assigment at Sjöfartsverket (The Swedish Maritime Administration)
Tomas Centerlind, Grandezza, got the assigment as project manager for a new system CHAMPS in hard competion with consultants from other consulting companies.
Sjöfartsverkets (The Swedish Maritime Administrations) system CHAMPS are in use for handling and updating geographical data and to generate graphical products and ENCs for mariners.
Large parts of the system now needs to be replaced when the current system provider no longer want to maintain their software. Parts of the system are developed by the Maritime Administration and have large dependencies on the software that needs to be replaced. Maritime Administration will now engage Tomas to lead the introduction of the new system for chart production.
